Shortly after, Einer passed away. George and his wife Betty continued to make the Log Cabin a thriving business, and made a Friday Night Fish fry a favorite with diners, for only 99 Cents. In 1990 the business sold to new owners, and in 1996 the bar was expanded and relocated. Today, the Dining Room, surrounded by large windows - provides a spectacular 180 degree view of Lake Michigan and the natural landscape alongside the building. Additionally, the overhead rafter system and beautiful vertical pine panels display the attention to detail and superior craftsmanship of yesteryear. The "Northwoods" Themed Interior, a fireplace, mirrored walls, and an automatic Grand Player Piano add to the ambience of this dining area. A newer addition at the other end of the building provides another Dining Area and a beautiful Bar. There are large screen TVs to watch your favorite sports, and a cozy relaxing seating area placed before a large stone fireplace where you can warm up after a day of cross country skiing or ice fishing on the Bay. This dining area provides access to a lovely outside deck area with umbrella tables and seating, and a gazebo. An artesian spring supplies continuous water to a picturesque pond and creek that runs alongside this outdoor space. The restaurant provides a wide selection of menu items and delicious desserts, with both in-house and take-out service. The bar provides full service, many craft beers, a Bloody Mary Bar, and specialty drinks. With over 4,895 square feet of business space available, The Log Cabin can seat up to 55 patrons in the front lakeside Dining Room, with seating for another 50 diners in the back pondside Dining Room. It offers services for Anniversaries, Birthday and Holiday Parties, Banquets, Community Events, Wedding Receptions, and Rehearsal Dinners. The kitchen is large with cooking, prep, and dishwashing areas - and the equipment is state-of. and go 1/4 miles to Main Street. Take a left and go 3 blocks to Healy Avenue. Take a right and go 2 blocks to County Road 480. Take a left and go to the "Cross Roads" with County Road 553.

Continue through intersection, 4.5 miles to US-41. Take a right and go 45.5 miles to US-2. Turn right onto US-2 W/US-41 S and go 9.1 miles to the property on the right.
